Ethics & Responsibility

We've been in business for nearly 50 years. That longevity comes from treating people fairly - customers, suppliers, and employees. Here's how we approach the responsibilities that come with running a manufacturing business.

Responsible Sourcing

PCBs contain metals - copper, tin, gold - and we take seriously where those materials come from. We expect our manufacturing partners to source materials responsibly and to avoid minerals that fund conflict or rely on exploitative labour practices.

We work with established manufacturers who participate in industry responsibility programmes. When customers require conflict minerals reporting or specific supply chain documentation, we work with our partners to provide it.

Environmental Considerations

PCB manufacturing involves chemicals, energy, and waste. We don't pretend otherwise. What we can do is choose manufacturing partners who invest in environmental controls, comply with regulations like RoHS and REACH, and continuously improve their processes.

We also try to reduce waste in the design phase. When we review your files, we'll flag opportunities to panel efficiently, avoid unnecessary processing steps, and choose appropriate materials - not just for cost, but for overall impact.

Fair Dealing

We give honest quotes. If your design is more complex than you realise, we'll tell you before you commit. If a simpler approach would work, we'll suggest it - even if it means a smaller order for us.

We pay our suppliers on time. We don't squeeze factories on price to the point where quality or worker conditions suffer. Sustainable business relationships require everyone to make a fair margin.

What We Don't Claim

We're a contract manufacturer, not a certification body. We don't audit factories ourselves or make guarantees about every link in the supply chain. What we do is choose partners carefully, ask the right questions, and respond honestly when our customers need information for their own compliance requirements.

Questions?

If you have specific compliance requirements or questions about our supply chain, get in touch. We're happy to discuss what we can and can't provide.
